The Creation, very misunderstood

As we have learned Frankenstein has given life to this inanimate object. And in turn set it free apon the world. I , personally, would like to pose the question should man have the ability to give and create life? And as we come to find out latter that the "monster" has killed William and indirectly killed Justine. Victor. blames himself and I think he should in part do so because the creature was never taught good from evil . So he did not know that it was wrong? But then the question is posed are we born with the internal direction to know right from wrong. As while as are we predestined to do good or evil. Or are we corrupted by the world and disinhibited? I also think that perhaps Frankenstein is to smart for his own good. To much knowledge is dangerous but so is to little. Like the scene with the creation and the fire.

  1. Wow! Awesome blog! These are very profound questions that truly ask wonderful questions about mankind. I beleive that we are all, for the most part, created good. Then we can be corrupted by experiences and the people around us. However, I beleive that we are born with a sense that tells us what is right from wrong. I think that the monster was good, but then people corrupted his goodness.

    Great blog!

  2. I think that we are all brought into the world good, but our experiences shape mankind into being good or bad. Overall most people are good or have good intentions, like the monster. He wants to learn, he wants to be loved; however, all he receives is hatred. Which I believe makes him into being a ruthless killer. Like Jessica said I think we all have a sense that tells us what is right and what is wrong.

  3. I believe that evil is a learned state of being. The monster learned by all the trauma he felt in his young life. He learned to administer pain upon the world through the pain he was dealt. Fantastic blog Zachary!

  5. I really liked this blog and have to agree with the others in that I beleive we are born good or with a blank state, and are corrupted by our what happens in our lives.

  6. I think that man should definitely not be give the abilitly to give and create life. I believe that God created all things and that he is the only giver of life. If he had disigned of us to be able to give life we would know how and already be able to.

Great blog. You questions are really awesome and something I wouldnt normally think of.

  7. Personally i do not think man should be able to create life!!!
I think we are born into the world fresh. But many things are to contribut to how we act. Like how are parents raise us, our suroundings, and our own stubborness. Because sisters dont act the exact same even tho they have the same parents

  8. I don't really know what I think about man being good or bad originally. I think that man should not have the power to create life though. Well, maybe to bring life back to something, but not create a new being, just maybe "resurrect" something back to life. I think God should definately be the only one who should create actual beings though.

  9. Well, your questions have many people talking. All of the mentioned comments contain one key thought: "Humans should not be able to creat life... That is God's part. And most people also agreed that when one is born, they are born 'good'" I do agree. I personaly know that God is the creator of all things and that he is the only one who has the power to bring to life. I also beleive that we were originally created to be good and do good works... So now, due to the events that took place in the Garden of Eden, we are surround by evil... It is a person's decision as to do good or do evil. Nice blog!
